Nick Fink, MA, RP

I believe that therapy is most effective when it is rooted in a genuine connection. My goal is to provide a space where you can stop suppressing your emotions and start understanding them, helping you bridge the gap between who you are and how you live.

I focus on helping clients—particularly gay men and members of the broader LGBTQ2IA+ community—navigate the complexities of identity, relationships, and emotions. My clinical work focuses on:

  • Values Alignment: Identifying what truly matters to you to enhance your quality of life.
  • Emotional Resilience: Moving from emotional suppression to tolerance and regulation by restructuring self-defeating narratives and building effective coping skills.
  • Relational Healing: Improving interpersonal functioning and deepening your understanding of your needs, emotions, and relational patterns.
  • Trauma Integration: Processing past adversity to build a healthier, more empowered narrative for your future.

My path to psychotherapy was driven by a passion for helping others navigate mental health challenges, as well as a lifelong fascination with behavioral science, neuroscience, and the power of relational healing. As a member of the LGBTQ2IA+ community myself, I have a personal and professional investment in this work. I have committed myself to supporting others, especially members of the LGBTQ2IA+ community, in learning adaptive ways to navigate difficult circumstances and feelings, and to improve their relationship with themselves.
