Hi, I'm David. I've spent nearly a decade in social work and mental health, and what's kept me in this field is simple — I genuinely love this work and the people I get to do it with.
My approach is collaborative and curiosity-driven. I don't show up with a rigid plan; I show up ready to understand you — your story, your strengths, and what's getting in the way of the life you want. Therapy with me tends to feel like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist.
I also believe that therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time. While we may explore some deep and difficult terrain together, I often bring lightness and humour into the room — because joy and connection are just as healing as insight.

My practice is grounded in a client-centred, anti-oppressive philosophy, shaped by my background in social work and peer support. I draw on DBT, CBT, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and Positive Psychology — using whatever combination actually fits you.
