Nadia Mehdizadeh Jafari, MA
I believe meaningful change happens when we feel empowered in our own story. I strive to offer a space where you can feel safe, understood, and genuinely heard, whether you’re working toward a goal, navigating a difficult transition, or feeling unsure about what you need. My approach is client-centred, which means therapy is shaped around you; your pace, your values, and your priorities. Together, we make room to explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion.
My work is grounded in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care. I also offer therapy in both English and Farsi, knowing how important it can be to express yourself in a language that feels most natural.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity-related concerns, relationship challenges, academic and career pressures, emotional overwhelm, and LGBTQ+ related experiences.
I draw from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and I tailor them to your needs so that you make sense of your experiences and move toward a life that feels aligned and meaningful.
