A Little About Me

Welcome! My name is Daniela, and I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying). As a bisexual woman with ADHD, I have lived experience that equips me to understand the unique and complex struggles of those from the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to feel seen and heard. I believe that positive life changes are guided by a person’s inner strengths and values. At times, stressors get in the way of living in line with these things. This is when extra mental health support can be helpful. I work primarily with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, relationship problems, ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities and LGBTQ+ issues. I have experience working in private practice and school settings.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. I draw from person-centred, emotion-focused, cognitive behavioural and mindfulness-based therapies in my sessions. I encourage people to provide themselves with compassion during difficult moments, and I guide them in developing new coping skills. Most importantly, I ensure that we work at a pace that feels right for you. I look forward to supporting you and meeting you wherever you are in your healing journey.
